Celebrating its 16th anniversary in 2020 the Barcelona Festival of Song's centerpiece is a course for classical singers, collaborative pianists, & musicologists focused on the study of the history & Interpretation of the vocal repertoires in Spanish, Portuguese & Catalan.

At the Barcelona Festival of Song you have the opportunity to sing in two public concerts in beautiful venues in the vibrant city of Barcelona. Fifteen years commissioning the composition of new works
Since its beginning in 2005, the Barcelona Festival of Song commissions every year the composition of new song cycles to some of most renowned composers and poets of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula
Open to students & teachers
Every year the Barcelona Festival of Song receives a selected group of singers from around the world who come to Barcelona to immerse themselves in the vocal repertoires in Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese. Many are voice teachers who are interested in expanding their musical horizons and in acquiring the tools that allow them to teach the repertoires at their home institutions.
master classes & Lectures
Participants of the Barcelona Festival of Song receive 63 hours of Master Classes, diction classes, and lectures to allow them to contextualize the repertoires and give them the tools to achieve accurate interpretations. On top of it, they participate in two public concerts in important venues of the city of Barcelona.
