For Composers

Since its beginning in 2005 the Barcelona Festival of Song is commited to support and promote the work of contemporary composers from Latin-America and the Iberian peninsula. For this reason each year it commissions the composition of one or more new songs cycles that are debuted during the festival. At the same time during the festival numerous new compositions are world premiered by fine musicians.

If you are a Latin-American or Iberian composer you are welcome to send your vocal compositions to the festival committee. The committee is in charge of assigning the works to the students or guest artists, which means your works have the possibility of being performed and for sure will be promoted among the participants of the Summer Program.
