Concerts

Established as one of Barcelona's most exciting and unique concert series of the city, the Barcelona Festival of Song offers every year eclectic and varied concerts.

This series started in 2005.  At that time it was exclusively dedicated to present repertoire for voice and guitar by Spanish and Catalan composers.  From 2006 on, the series evolved to become what it is today; a series of 8 concerts dedicated to present the variety and richness of the Classical music repertoire written by Latin-American and Iberian composers.

In its 2012 edition the Barcelona Festival of Song will present 8 concerts with well known artists as pianist Elena Riu, tenor Lenine Santos, pianist Tomas Ballicora, guitarist José Lezcano and soprano Patricia Caicedo.

The Barcelona Festival of Song® is an ambitious project that tries to have international impact in the preservation and promotion of the musical heritage of Latin America, Catalonia and Spain.
