BARCELONA FESTIVAL OF SONG

Registration 

Once you decide you would like to participate in our Summer Program you have to start the applicacion process and complete the following steps:

Active participants have to:

1. Pay 50€ non-refundable application fee. You can pay this fee by going to www.mundoarts.com or by clicking here.

2. Complete application form. (Be aware that once you click on the link the system will show you an error, please click again in the error window and the form will show up)

3. Send one photograph

4. Send one photograph

5. Send Résumé (detailing educational background, operatic and recital experience and performance history)

6. Send a repertoire list, including performed song, zarzuela, opera and/or oratorio material, as well as repertoire in preparation.

7. Send an Audio or video cassette or CD, presenting audition selections (Three art songs, or Zarzuela Romanza from Spain or Latin America). For guitarists and pianists, 2 solo pieces from the Latin - American or Spanish Repertoire. You can send Mp3.

Remember you can send all the application materials using the internet,

you can even pay the entire tuition at www.mundoarts.com.

Once we receive your application materials we will let you know in one wee if you were selected to participate.  Once you have been selected we encourage you to register early. By registering early you will enjoy a better price than you would when registering close to the final registration deadline and also you will secure your place, remember there is a limited number of participants accepted each year. We only accept 15 artists each year.

There are 3 deadlines each one with different tuition price.

Deadline dates:

First deadline: January 12th, 2010

Second deadline: April 1, 2010

Final Registration deadline is June 10th, 2010
